The bed was very comfortable with four pillows. I was given room 6 which was in the Manor House it was very spacious, appeared to have a new carpet and the room had a very luxurious feel to it. I stayed at the hotel for 2 night due to training I was attending at the conference centre (adjoined). Overall a disappointing stay this time though… Breakfast in the morning was lovely however as I’ve always found it to be. We were checking out at 8.30 the next morning and really just needed to sleep. I gave up and just went to bed hungry and abit miffed if I’m honest we I thought an hours wait for a sandwich was abit extreme. Then eventually managed to get through to room service ( from the main reception) and was told as it was almost 9pm the sandwich wouldn’t be sent up till 11pm because the change over to the night shift. She couldn’t figure it out either and apologised. I went down to reception and asked for another fan which the kind lady in reception brought up to the room for us and we explained about the phone not working. Then we tried to order some room service and the phone wasn’t working so spent 15mins trying to sort that out. If we hadn’t of checked in so late and had a long journey we would of asked to move rooms but as we were all tired and hungry we decided to give the duvets a shake over the bath for the evening as they looked clean ( just hairy and stained in places) The bathroom floor hasn’t been cleaned either. The single bed had long black hairs and dirt all over it, and our bed wasn’t that great either. It had either not been done or wasn’t very well carried out. The carpet was very dirty, and also had lots of stains on it. On entering the room noticed how hot the room was and I thought when booking any rooms with a double bed had air con but my fault I guess for not double checking. We stayed in a family room this time as wanted abit of extra space as we were there with our daughter for her graduation the next day. We arrived late around 9pm, as always lovely staff in reception. This time however was not a great experience unfortunately. We have stayed at the Weetwood a few times now and has always been our go to when visiting our daughter who goes to uni in Leeds and have always had a pleasant stay.
